Ron Bassett

Dr. Ron Bassett's specialization is persuasion. He helps clients get their messages across effectively when speaking to key decision makers and groups, testifying, answering reporters' questions and selling.

For over a decade, Dr. Bassett served as an award-winning tenured Professor and Associate Dean for Academic Affairs at the University of Texas-Austin's College of Communication.

Now working as an SPI consultant, he is the author of a college textbook and many articles and book chapters. Dr. Bassett has presented educational programs, keynote speeches and consultation to over 30 state and federal agencies and many of the world's leading organizations including IBM, Motorola, Texas Instruments, Shell, Exxon, 3M, Hewlett Packard and AT&T.

He provides clients with highly practical, immediately applicable communication strategies and tactics that are strongly grounded in years of communication research.
