Colette Vallot

More than two decades of experience, special insight and skills in working with industry and Fortune 500 companies in the private sector has allowed SPI Consultant Colette Vallot to translate that expertise into successful efforts on behalf of SPI clients seeking to navigate the public sector. A licensed attorney, Colette’s areas of expertise include energy, education, public policy and regulatory issues. She also is skilled in advocacy, stakeholder relations and communications and has a proven record for fostering relationships with elected officials, agencies and executives in state and local government.

Over the years, Colette Vallot has developed a robust network of relationships and contacts with government officials, particularly in the Houston, Dallas, Austin, East Texas, Corpus Christi and Rio Grande Valley areas. Her previous experience as chair of the Energy Council at the Greater Houston Partnership and membership on government affairs and legislative committees of numerous local chambers of commerce allowed her to gain valuable experience in both policy and legislative issues that make her uniquely qualified to provide invaluable assistance to SPI clients. She also has experience of having worked during a Texas legislative session, collaborating with local elected officials, members of the Texas Legislature and state agency staff.

Colette earned her bachelor’s degree in public communications from The American University in Washington, D.C., and her law degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
