Troy Huffines

 Troy HuffinesTroy Huffines will capitalize on his more than 28 years of working in Tennessee’s criminal justice system at the state, county, municipal, and university law enforcement jurisdictions as he consults with Strategic Partnerships Inc. clients.

Troy began his career working in community corrections. He served as a law enforcement officer and moved up the ranks to the position of police chief. Troy also held roles as a patrol officer, criminal investigator, internal affairs, research and planning, crime analysis, emergency management, grant management oversight, accreditation manager, communications division supervisor, and records division supervisor.

He served as an active member in the Tennessee Association for Chiefs of Police, including as co-chair of the technology committee and as a board member. He is a subject matter expert in criminal justice and has extensive experience in government and university operations. Troy was selected to serve as a training instructor with the National White Collar Crime Institute. He also served as a grant reviewer for the U.S. Department of Justice. His expertise in law enforcement policy and accreditation management will provide SPI clients with insight into that public sector arena.

Troy holds a Bachelor of Science degree with a specialty in criminal justice administration from Middle Tennessee State University and a Master of Science in criminal justice administration from the University of Cincinnati. He is a welcome addition to the SPI Team.
