Link Alander’s career includes 32 years of technology experience with most of it focused on higher education. He served as a Chief Technology Officer for 8 years and 11 years as a Chief Information Officer at Lone Star College.
Link is a dedicated professional who is still actively involved in national organizations related to higher education. He is the proud recipient of multiple awards, including the Campus Technology Innovators Award and two Oracle Innovators Awards. He has also been named a finalist for the Houston CIO of the Year award twice.
Link is currently active in various national higher education organizations, he currently serves on the Higher Education Advisory Board for a large private sector firm.
Link holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Business in Management Information Systems from Western Illinois University.
