Pat Hogan

Pat Hogan has 25+ years experience in the IT industry. Pat joined SPI after serving as Business Operations Director for the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR), the state agency responsible for statewide IT policy, planning and service delivery. At DIR, Pat was responsible for oversight of the division responsible for the management of more than three hundred cooperative contracts for technology products and services. While at DIR, Pat was also responsible for the management of the State Data Center in San Angelo and the Austin Disaster Recovery and Operations Center. Before entering public service, Pat worked in the IT departments of a large natural gas utility and a mid-sized state university.

Pat holds a B.A.A. from Cleary University in Michigan. He has also attended the Governor's Executive Development and Senior Management Programs at University of Texas, LBJ School. Pat has 30 years combined service in the United States Army, Army Reserve and Army National Guard. He served on active duty during both the Vietnam War and Operation Desert Storm.
