The town of Addison selected a real estate broker as it prepares to release a master developer solicitation for a $500 million transit-oriented development around the future Silver Line Rail Station operated by Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART).
Addison has been planning this development for years, highlighted by its Addison Circle Special Area Study. Potential uses include a food hall, market, office space, and residential developments.

The study findings call to extend the Addison Circle urban neighborhood character and maximize the benefits of the new DART station by recommending urban residential with retail ready ground floor and a boutique hotel at Addison Circle West, and a mix of high-density office, retail, and residential towers with a potential grocery component at Addison Central.

DART has scheduled construction on the Silver Line to begin later this year with overall completion set for March 2023.
