The SPI Team is in awe of something we want to share. It seems only fitting to share it with our long-time newsletter subscribers. Many of you have been loyal subscribers for more than two decades, so we now consider you to be part of our extended family.
About two years ago we launched a project that would test our 30 years of knowledge about how to identify and then uncover all public data related to upcoming government projects. Since most of the SPI Team members served as public officials in the past, we had an advantage because we knew how to access public information. But our greatest advantage came from our work over three decades of seeking and uncovering this type of information. For many years we’ve been known as the team who could alert companies to upcoming opportunities long before solicitation documents were even drafted.
We learned how to capture that type of information and data state by state and jurisdiction by jurisdiction as we meticulously maneuvered through the abundance of public data buried in bureaucracy. As we worked with states and local government jurisdictions, we learned where to go, how to find budget information, planning documents, legislative requests and appropriations, bond election funding, and federal programs that provide financial support for upcoming state and local projects.
To say that the learning experience tested our patience for decades is a significant understatement. But we knew how important early project alerts are in the overall quest for success.
Then, when we decided we had a grasp on the process, we started building what we now call a Rapid Research Engine. We needed an engine to store data from thousands of budgets and planning documents we were identifying and analyzing. We needed a place to store all kinds of data and then retrieve it in very specialized ways. We built the Rapid Research Engine piece by piece with some very talented software engineers.
We then had to get the new Engine into the Cloud, and we continued to design it to follow instructions about how we wanted it to deliver specific information of all types about upcoming projects based on requests we would make.
Again, patience was needed and I was probably the least patient participant of all. I was tired of waiting and wanted to be able to ask for upcoming opportunities of a specific type in any state or jurisdiction and have the Rapid Research Engine deliver the information in a matter of minutes.
My note to you today is to tell you that we have finally succeeded and this mission has been accomplished! Now we are literally looking at more than a million upcoming government projects that are planned and funded but not yet announced for 2026 and most of 2027. We call what we’ve captured Solid Gold for companies that sell into the U.S. government marketplace.
In less than 48 hours we can now provide a roadmap to success in the U.S. state and local government marketplace to any company. Everything that a sales team needs to know about specific types of opportunities can now be delivered for 2026 and most of 2027.
When asked for specific types of upcoming opportunities, we can provide information about hundreds or perhaps thousands of opportunities that check the box for whatever kind of specific criteria has been requested.
We can deliver that extremely valuable information in 48 hours. We can actually do it quicker, but every bit of research data we provide is confirmed one last time by our experienced researchers. Either way, this is a game changer that delivers a competitive advantage for companies that sell into the government marketplace!
We are “first to market” with this unique offering and this type of information is not available elsewhere. And as we continue to feed the Rapid Research Engine with 2027 data related to upcoming projects, we very soon will have all data for next year completed. The million upcoming opportunities will increase quickly as we capture new research weekly.
We will soon launch a marketing campaign to let the world know about the unique capabilities of our Rapid Research Engine. That effort would already be underway had we not been so eager to share the news about this project with our clients.
It seemed we should now let our friends know this good news as soon as possible. So, now you know…and we are presenting demos for all interested parties. All you need to do is click here or call us to schedule a demo (512-531-3900). If you sell to government, I cannot imagine why you would not want to see this.
You won’t see anything like this anywhere else anytime soon, I promise, so book a demo and I think you’ll share in our excitement.
