AI infrastructure manufacturer expands into McKinney with $919M campus investment

July 24, 2026

A Taiwan-based power management and artificial intelligence (AI) infrastructure company has selected McKinney for its U.S. campus, investing $919 million and creating at least 600 jobs.

The campus will occupy more than 650,000 square feet in McKinney’s Core 5 Logistics Center, a new industrial park.

The facility will support electronics manufacturing, assembly, research and development, testing and office operations focused on AI-related technologies. New positions will include manufacturing, distribution, testing, integration and packaging of electronic products.

The investment adds to a series of major corporate expansions in McKinney, joining companies such as Globe Life, Encore Wire and RTX.

Development will occur in phases. The first phase includes acquiring and repurposing the industrial park property, a $307 million investment, installing production lines and hiring approximately 500 employees.

Texas is supporting the project with a $3.5 million Texas Enterprise Fund grant and a $100,000 Veteran Created Job Bonus. Local incentives have not yet been finalized, although McKinney’s economic development programs allow the city to provide assistance such as infrastructure improvements, tax incentives and permitting support for qualifying projects.
