The center’s specific aim is to gather information from interested suppliers on their respective abilities to provide a software solution or solutions that can enhance its ability to track and manage medical, surgical, laboratory, and research supplies.

In the RFI, the center expresses an interest in technology capable of push notifications, use on mobile devices, and interface with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID).
Information learned as a result of the RFI will assist MD Anderson in deciding whether and how to engage with a company to meet its business needs related to health-care data management.
The deadline for RFI submissions is 5 p.m. CDT September 13.
