Healthcare professional to lead Fort Worth-Tarrant County Innovation Partnership
Cameron Cushman has been named executive director of the Fort Worth-Tarrant County Innovation Partnership, succeeding founding executive director Darryl Heath.
Cushman most recently served as assistant vice president of innovation ecosystems at UNT Health Fort Worth. In his new role, he will oversee the partnership’s efforts to build industry collaborations across aerospace, healthcare and workforce development while advancing the Switchyard Innovation District and research partnerships.
Georgetown hires new assistant city manager
Jack Daly has been appointed assistant city manager for the city of Georgetown, effective June 22.
Daly has served the city for more than 13 years in leadership roles including community services director, assistant public works director and chief business officer for the electric utility. He holds a Master of Public Administration from the University of North Texas and a bachelor’s degree in government and history from the University of Texas at Austin.
Prosper names new executive director guiding economic development
Madison Clark has been named executive director of the Prosper Economic Development Corporation, effective July 20.
Clark most recently served as director of business retention and workforce development for the McKinney Economic Development Corporation and brings nearly 15 years of economic development experience. As executive director, she will lead the corporation’s business recruitment, retention and investment strategies, including economic development efforts.
San Antonio ISD unveils lone finalist for superintendent
Dr. Adrian Bustillos has been named the lone finalist for superintendent of the San Antonio Independent School District following a vote by the Board of Trustees.
Bustillos currently serves as chief transformation officer for Aldine ISD and previously held leadership roles at El Paso ISD. As superintendent, Bustillos will lead district operations, academic improvement efforts and strategic initiatives across one of Texas’ largest urban school districts following the state-required 21-day waiting period.
New city manager unveiled for Farmersville
Dr. Angela Smith has been appointed city manager for the city of Farmersville, effective July 6.
Smith most recently served as city manager for Gun Barrel City and previously held leadership positions with the city of Rowlett. She holds a doctorate in business administration from Northcentral University, a Master of Public Administration from the University of Texas at Tyler and a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University–Commerce.
New leader to head Royse ISD finance, operations
Dr. Jon Hill has been appointed senior executive director of finance and operations for Royse City ISD.
Hill brings more than 20 years of experience in public education administration, finance and operations. He holds a doctorate in educational leadership and will oversee the district’s financial management, budgeting, business operations, facilities and operational services in support of Royse City ISD’s continued growth.
