A retired Navy Special Operations veteran, RJ brings the same discipline, strategic execution, and mission-focused leadership to SPI that defined his military career. Prior to joining the firm, he served in a key leadership role within the Office of the Governor, where he championed high-impact initiatives and directed vital state operations. With an extensive background in government leadership, RJ has a proven track record of driving strategic initiatives, managing high-stakes public operations, and fostering collaboration between public and private entities. His deep understanding of public policy, procurement, and agency operations allows him to provide clients with invaluable, actionable insights that translate into successful partnerships and business growth.
His robust professional experience is backed by a world-class educational foundation. RJ graduated summa cum laude from Yale University with distinction in two majors. He went on to earn an MBA and a Graduate Certificate in Executive Communication from Baylor University’s Hankamer School of Business, where he was inducted into the Beta Gamma Sigma international business honor society. He is currently completing an Executive master’s in public leadership at the University of Texas at Austin’s LBJ School of Public Affairs.
