Matt Creel is a consulting partner with Strategic Partnerships, Inc. (SPI), bringing extensive experience in government affairs, public policy, economic development and business development.
Based in Austin, Matt has built strong relationships throughout Texas with economic development organizations and across state agencies.
His previous roles include serving as vice president of policy and advocacy at Opportunity Austin, working in business development, serving on the staff of the Texas Sunset Advisory Commission and holding multiple chief of staff positions for members of the Texas Legislature.
Matt’s combination of legislative, policy and private-sector experience gives him a strong understanding of how government entities operate, how policy decisions are made and how organizations can effectively navigate the public-sector marketplace.
