Marisa Marquez

As a former member of the Texas House of Representatives, Marisa Marquez has excellent insight into working with elected officials, shaping messages and policy. She was a member of the Appropriations Committee and developed a deep understanding of the interworkings of state agencies.
Marisa was instrumental in the creation of the only county ethics commission in the state and appropriating funding for the inaugural University of Texas at El Paso Pharmacy School. Throughout her tenure, she proved to be an effective and bi-partisan legislator. Marisa chose not to seek reelection in 2016 and has now works as a consultant in Texas.
Marissa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and Economics degree from the University of Notre Dame.
