Maggie Stenz joins the SPI team with an extensive government background as well as economic development experience. She worked for the City of Austin, where she provided qualitative research and report writing, program coordination, internal communications and public outreach. She also served as a program specialist for the Texas Health and Human Services Commission and an analyst at the Texas Legislative Council, where she worked in the areas of public health, human services, public education and county affairs.
Prior to her work in municipal and state government, Maggie pursued a career as an art historian, working at several major art museums. Maggie holds a master’s degree from the University of Kansas and a PhD from the City University of New York. She is working with the SPI team in the areas of research, communications, business development and corporate outreach.
