Magdalena Blanco

Magdalena Blanco is an executive consultant with over 20 years of leadership experience spanning state government, nonprofit organizations, and the private sector. She has held senior roles across strategy, finance, operations, and grant management—advising leaders and managing initiatives with budgets up to $1 billion.

Her public sector career includes more than 15 years serving the State of Texas and other jurisdictions, where she led statewide programs, designed governance systems, and oversaw large-scale federal funding efforts. She has worked across Texas, Arizona, California, New Mexico, New York, Florida, and Puerto Rico. In the private sector, Magdalena has worked with national consulting firms and mission-driven organizations to implement transformational strategies and performance systems.

She brings deep expertise in economic and community development, particularly in building equitable ecosystems, managing federal grants, and guiding public-private partnerships. Magdalena is also a published author of Economic Development Corporations in Texas, a foundational assessment of local development structures across the state.

Magdalena holds a Master of Public Administration from Texas State University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science & Government from California State University San Marcos. Magdalena is known for her strategic mindset, systems approach, and commitment to building equitable, high-performing organizations through collaborative leadership and data-driven insight.
