Jim Williams has over two decades experience in research, governmental affairs, public policy, education and local government. He served at two state agencies, a state association and a community college.
He has worked in an advisory capacity with several Texas governmental entities and led statewide rollouts of public policy initiatives. He has also written public policy alerts and done the underlying research to provide numerous briefings about complex matters involving government, policy, and law. Jim was the point person for the formulation of policies adopted on a statewide basis by school districts.
Jim has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Houston and a master’s degree in political science from the University of Chicago.
