8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

The University of Texas-Austin, Commons Learning Center, 10100 Burnet Road, Austin, TX 78758

The Biennial Legislative Communication Conference has been sponsored jointly by the LBJ School of Public Affairs and Strategic Partnerships, Inc. since 1998. It is designed to bring government executives, appointees, senior staffers and elected officials together to discuss the upcoming session of the Texas Legislature.

At this conference you will have the opportunity to:

· Learn from statewide elected officials about issues they plan to champion during the session;

· Hear first hand discussions about budget issues, employee benefits, and how to work successfully with elected leaders of the Texas House of Representatives and the Senate;

· Network with other government executives from throughout the state; and

· Listen to predictions for the 2017 session.

Your registration fee includes a full day of discussion about the 2017 session, a Continental Breakfast, a Networking Luncheon and valuable materials to support you throughout the upcoming legislative year.

A full agenda will be available soon!

What attendees of the last Biennial Legislative Communication Conference had to say:

“As always- Excellent!”

“I learned how to ‘advocate/influence’ your agency agenda in difficult economic times.”
