California – Jeff Beigh has been appointed chief of police for the City of Roseville and will become the department’s 19th police chief following the retirement of Chief Troy Bergstrom on April 28. Beigh previously served as a police captain with the Roseville Police Department and brings more than 20 years of experience across patrol, narcotics, training, SWAT, and emergency management operations. In his new role, he will oversee the department’s operations, personnel, and public safety services for the community.
Kansas – Amelia Blackwood has been appointed city administrator for the City of Clay Center, where she will oversee daily municipal operations, implement city council policies, and support community growth initiatives. In addition, Lindsay Clark has been appointed city clerk and will oversee official records management, council meeting coordination, and compliance with state and local requirements
Ohio – Jeff Uckotter has been appointed community development director for West Chester Township. Uckotter most recently served as planning and zoning administrator for Sycamore Township and brings experience in planning, zoning, economic development, and township operations. In his new role, he will help lead major planning and development initiatives, including the Mill Creek District and Union Centre Boulevard Corridor Study.
Colorado – Melissa Daruna has been appointed town manager for the Town of Eagle following unanimous approval by the town council. Daruna previously served as assistant town manager and interim town manager after joining the town in 2023. In her new role, she will oversee municipal operations, long-term planning, financial management, and organizational leadership for the town.
Georgia – Jeff Fisher has assumed the role of deputy county administrator for Meriwether County. Fisher currently serves as a Coweta County commissioner and previously held leadership roles including assistant city manager and mayor for the City of Senoia. In his new role, he will support county administration and oversee operational and planning functions for Meriwether County.
Georgia – Blue Cole has been appointed city manager for the City of Jonesboro and assumed the role following approval by the city council. Cole previously served as the city’s economic development director and brings more than 20 years of local and state government administration experience. In his new role, he will oversee day-to-day municipal operations, implement city council policies, and lead strategic initiatives supporting the city’s growth and community development.
Pennsylvania – Edward Hozza has been appointed township manager for Bethlehem Township following a 3-2 vote by the Board of Commissioners. Hozza previously served as Lehigh County’s director of administration and as mayor of Whitehall Township. He is scheduled to begin his new role overseeing township operations and administration on May 18.
California – Andrea Daugherty has been appointed as the inaugural chief information and digital transformation officer for Arrowhead Regional Medical Center. Daugherty brings 15 years of digital health executive leadership experience and previously focused on expanding healthcare access for underserved populations. In her new role, she will lead the hospital’s digital transformation initiatives supporting clinical operations, technology modernization, and patient care services.
