California – Lea Eriksen has been appointed as Culver City’s next senior assistant city manager, bringing more than 25 years of local government experience and a nationally recognized background in technology leadership and fiscal management. Eriksen joins from the city of Long Beach, where she served as director of technology and innovation and chief information officer, leading major modernization and digital equity initiatives.
Arizona – Joe Giudice has been announced by the city of Mesa as the next Water Resources Director. Giudice brings more than three decades of leadership experience in environmental quality, public works, and utility services. He most recently served as deputy solid waste director for Mesa and previously held senior leadership roles with the city of Phoenix, including public works director.
Oklahoma – Stacy Leeds has been appointed to lead the University of Tulsa as its next president, effective July 1. Leeds is an accomplished academic leader and legal scholar who previously served as dean of the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and as a justice on the Cherokee Nation Supreme Court.
Florida – Jesse Flint has been named as the deputy executive director and chief commercial officer for the Lee County Port Authority. In his new role, Flint will oversee revenue-generating activities at Southwest Florida International Airport and Page Field, including aeronautical and nonaeronautical business development, concessions, information technology and risk management.
Washington – Mindy Roberts has been selected by the governor to serve as the executive director of Puget Sound Partnership, a state agency responsible for resilience efforts regarding Puget Sound. Prior to joining Puget Sound Partnership, Roberts served as the Puget Sound program director at a nonprofit, where she led environmental policy making and ecosystem recovery.
Illinois – Keith Pettigrew has been appointed to lead the Chicago Housing Authority as chief executive officer, following a 16-month gap in filling the position. He previously served in leadership roles in Washington D.C. and New Orleans, where he garnered over 20 years of experience with public housing agencies. In his new role, Pettigrew will oversee and lead several of Chicago’s largest affordable housing initiatives.
Utah – Jim Grover has announced that he will join the city of West Jordan as the next economic development director. Grover brings experience in public policy, budgeting and economic development, including prior leadership roles with the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity. In his new role, he will lead efforts to attract business investment, support local economic growth and coordinate development initiatives across one of Utah’s largest cities.
California – Eddie Manfro has been selected as the next city manager for Fullerton, following his service in an interim role since August 2025. Manfro brings more than three decades of municipal leadership experience, including serving as City Manager of Westminster and holding senior roles in human resources and administration across several Southern California cities.
