Jeff Closson has a long history of public service. He spent nearly 30 years delivering innovative solutions to meet the diverse requirements of state and local government agencies in Texas. He excels in providing the vision, leadership and focus to projects and organizations combining his technical expertise, business knowledge and communication skills. His experience includes working with local, state and federal stakeholders in many business areas. His strengths are his abilities to manage all aspects of a project.
Jeff has served in a wide range of roles including project manager at the Texas Department of State Health Services. Jeff managed the implementation of the DSM-5 enhancements to the Clinical Management for Behavioral Health Services application within the Mental Health and Substance Abuse Division of the Texas Department of State Health Services. Other roles include management consultant, strategic planner, quality assurance manager, methodologist, business analyst and application designer.
Jeff has managed the procurement, development and implementation of many high profile enterprise-level applications at some of the largest state agencies in Texas including Health and Human Services Commission, Office of the Attorney General, Department of Transportation, Department of Motor Vehicles, and Department of Criminal Justice.
Jeff is a graduate of Graceland University in Lamoni, Iowa, and received his Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
