Janet Sheguit brings to Strategic Partnerships, Inc., an intimate understanding of municipal finance, developed during more than 30 years of employment in municipal government, culminating in her service as city manager of Cameron, where she oversaw a budget in excess of $4 million while managing 54 employees.

As Cameron city manager, Janet was especially successful in obtaining state and federal grant funds for projects including a hike and bike trail and a water distribution system. Prior to her hiring as city manager, Janet served the City of Cameron as City Secretary and Tax Assessor-Collector and as municipal court clerk.

Since 2004, Janet has consulted with individuals and businesses on employee benefits with an emphasis on retirement savings and investment options. She also continues to write, research and offer advice on administering grants.

Janet maintains her membership in the Texas City Managers Association, the Texas Municipal Clerks Association and the Texas Association of Assessing Officers. She has also served in a variety of community activities, including the Cameron Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Board of Directors of Central Texas Hospital.
