Meadows is chairman of Hub International Rigg, a risk management and insurance services company headquartered in Dallas. He chairs the North Texas Tollway Authority and is a trustee of the Hatton W. Sumners Foundation. He has served Texas state government as a member of the Texas Water Development Board and is a former city council member and mayor pro-tem of the City of Fort Worth. He has also served on the board of the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce and Southwestern University.
Meadows holds a bachelor's degree from Southwestern University and attended Harlaxton Institute in England. He replaces Williamson on the board.
The two new members' terms will expire Feb. 1, 2013, if they are confirmed by the Texas Senate.
