      MEMO

      TO: Interested Parties
FROM: Mary Scott Nabers (President & CEO, Strategic Partnerships, Inc.)

RE: Expansion of SPI Electronic Information Sharing Initiative
With the beginning of 2008 just around the corner, Strategic Partnerships, Inc. (SPI) is proud to announce the expansion of our public sector information sharing initiative. Building on the continued success of our weekly electronic publication, the Texas Government Insider (TGI), we are launching multiple targeted efforts designed to further improve the exchange of valuable information between public sector entities and between the public and private sectors.
TGI currently provides comprehensive Texas government news coverage, at no charge, to more than 25,000 public and private sector recipients on a weekly basis. We take great care to ensure that the information we provide is substantive, timely and of interest to a wide audience of both public and private sector decision-makers. The visibility opportunity provided by TGI is virtually unparalleled and our audience is composed of influencers who span a diverse array of sectors and industries.
As part of our enhanced information sharing initiative, we are issuing an open and continuous call for information from associations and other public sector-related entities who are trying to reach a wide audience of individuals focused on the Texas government arena. We will have a dynamic repository for this information both on our Web site (www.spartnerships.com) and by distributing this information through TGI. In particular, we are looking for the following types of material:

Upcoming statewide conferences and/or events with a Texas public sector focus
Articles regarding compelling government trends and/or innovative government initiatives
Economic development issues of interest to a broad audience (ex. bond projects etc.)
Information regarding successful public/private sector partnerships
Regulatory news relevant to public and/or private sector entities
Recent publications with a Texas public sector connection
Given that the goal of this initiative is to strengthen the connections between all parties interested in the Texas public sector, we ask that submissions not be solely promotional in nature but rather evidence an interest in the broader trends, events and partnerships which define and enliven the government sphere. Due to the high volume of material we anticipate receiving, the editing and publication of information (either to the Web site and/or in TGI) will be at the discretion of the SPI editorial committee. Additional submission information for this initiative is listed below:
      Preferred Format: Word Document
      Length: 750 words or less
