Jane Nauman

Assisting SPI and SPI clients with education grant expertise is grants specialist Jane Nauman. As an SPI senior consultant, Jane’s expertise includes writing and managing grants, technology implementation, curriculum writing, project implementation, Web-based instruction, public speaking, project implementation, instructional design, executive presentations and professional development.

Jane has worked with both the Birdville and Dallas ISDs, was instructional technology coordinator for the Region 10 Education Service Center and director of instructional technology for the Fort Worth ISD. She also has been part of an educational software sales force, consulted with Region 10 ESC regarding a data warehouse being developed and provided marketing assistance and developed partnerships for the National Educational Computing Conference and International Society for Technology in Education. She has also served as an adjunct professor for integration of multimedia classes at Southern Methodist University and served as a faculty member at the University of North Texas, teaching in the Technology Application Certification program.

Jane holds a bachelor’s degree with certification in elementary education and certifications in all levels of special education from Stephen F. Austin State University. She also earned a master’s degree in early childhood education with an emphasis on technology integration from Texas Woman’s University.
